MECE Advisory

The Short Version

I’m Chris Eliasen. For over 25 years, I’ve helped companies solve their hardest pricing and operations problems. Now I help business leaders find clarity in complexity.

What I Believe

“There are only 2 things they cannot take away from you in this world: education and experiences. Get as much of both as you can.”

This philosophy has guided my entire career. I’ve spent decades accumulating both — and now I help others do the same.

What I Do

Business Consulting with a Focus on Clarity, Structure, and Results.

I help organizations:

  • Transform pricing strategy — from guesswork to systematic advantage
  • Build operational excellence — processes that actually work
  • Develop leadership capability — preparing the next generation to lead
  • Navigate complex transitions — mergers, turnarounds, succession planning

Where I Come From

My career has followed three parallel paths — each informing the others.

Management Consultant
For over 25 years, I’ve worked with companies to solve complex pricing and operational challenges. From strategy to execution, I help organizations turn analysis into results. My background in Knowledge Management and Behavioral Economics gives me unique tools to understand not just what organizations do, but why they do it — and how to change it.

University Professor
For more than 20 years, I’ve taught the next generation of business leaders. The classroom keeps me sharp — translating real-world experience into frameworks students can apply.

Andersen Windows
Three decades at one of America’s most enduring manufacturers. I’ve lived the full arc — from shop floor to analyst to business leader — and learned what it takes to lead a 123-year-old company through transformation.

How I Work

I’m a CD-style INTJ — questioning, analytical, and unwilling to compromise on high standards. This means:

  • I challenge assumptions others accept
  • I build systems that outlast individual efforts
  • I measure success by results, not activity
  • I prefer working independently toward clear goals

My approach combines deep analytical rigor with practical, hard-won experience.

The MECE Framework

MECE stands for Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive — a principle from management consulting that ensures comprehensive, non-overlapping analysis.

I apply this framework to every engagement:

  • No gaps — we address every aspect of the problem
  • No overlap — clear, distinct categories for action
  • No ambiguity — everyone knows exactly what needs to be done

Why Work With Me

Depth of Experience
25+ years solving pricing and operations challenges across industries.

Analytical Rigor
Data-driven decisions, not gut feelings or industry conventional wisdom.

Practical Results
Frameworks that work in the real world, not just in theory.

Uncompromising Standards
I won’t sign off on “good enough.” Your success is my reputation.
